Automower 405X installation in White Sands

In October 2023, we took on another project in White Sands, near Murray Bridge. The lawn area was about 500 square metres, with TifTuf grass. 

TifTuf has recently appeared on the market and has quickly become a favourite among many clients due to its beautiful colour, durability, and great heat tolerance. This is especially important for South Australia during the summer season.

We selected the Automower 405X model for this site because it can mow up to 600 square metres. Additionally, the robot has a built-in GPS for location tracking and navigation assistance, ensuring optimal mowing results.

Using a cable layer, we laid the cable at a depth of 5 cm, carefully navigating around irrigation pipes to avoid accidental damage.

We also installed a charging station on one of the flower beds and added a protective cover, the Automower House. This cover will protect the robot from bad weather and the scorching summer sun, preventing it from overheating while charging.

After several months of mowing with the Automower, the quality of the lawn has noticeably improved. The owner no longer needs to spend hours mowing manually or filling up the green bin to the brim.
