Automower 430X Nera Installation in Mount Barker

We installed a wireless Automower 430X Nera robot at a property in Mount Barker, covering a total mowing area of 1100 sq m. The client opted for a wire-free system, so we equipped the robot with an EPOS plugin, allowing it to operate within virtual boundaries.

We mounted a reference station on the shed roof, necessary for precise robot navigation using satellite signals.

Next, we set up an Automower House for NERA models and charging station. The house protects the robot from the scorching summer sun during charging, as well as from bad weather and falling branches.

We then created a virtual map for the property, marking no-go zones around trees to avoid unnecessary collisions with the robot and to prevent wear and tear on the casing.

Notably, the 430X Nera features an excellent object avoidance function that uses a radar built into the front of the robot. It changes direction when it approaches an object.

Now, the owner of the 430X Nera doesn’t need to spend time riding around; they can devote time to more important and interesting activities!
