Aspire R4 installation in Beaumont

In October 2023, we completed an installation for our client in Beaumont.

Our task was to select a robot for a small courtyard (about 100 square metres) in a secluded area. The ideal solution for this site was the recently introduced Husqvarna Automower Aspire R4, now available on the Australian market.

This model, designed for areas up to 400 square metres, offers a perfect balance of power and efficiency. During the installation in your backyard, which has limited access, we made a strategic decision to forgo the built-in GPS module. This was because the Wi-Fi signal in your backyard is consistently strong, making the GPS module unnecessary.

We did some prep work to level the area for installing the charging station.

Then, we laid the cable at a depth of up to 5 cm using a cable layer. In spots where it was tricky to turn with the cable layer (mainly sharp corners), we buried the wire using a regular hand edger.

We installed a guide cable to help the robot reach the charging station.

Afterwards, we tested the installation and trained the client to use the Automower Connect app.

After a few months, the lawn started looking fantastic. The quality of the grass improved, and it now resembles a lush green carpet.
