The Husqvarna Automower 312V is a next-generation wire-free robotic lawn mower designed for lawns up to 1,200 m². It combines Husqvarna’s proven Automower technology with AI Vision, satellite-based navigation and flexible virtual boundaries, making it a smart choice for larger suburban lawns across Adelaide and South Australia.
With no traditional boundary wire required, the Automower 312V offers a cleaner and more flexible installation. Everything is managed through the Automower Connect app, where you can create mowing areas, set schedules, adjust work zones and add temporary stay-out zones when needed.

AI Vision technology
The built-in camera uses AI to detect and identify objects on the lawn, helping the mower avoid collisions with items such as toys, garden tools, outdoor furniture and other unexpected obstacles.
AI Vision also works together with satellite-based navigation to support mowing in areas where satellite signal may be weaker. As long as the mower can see grass, it can continue mowing more confidently and help maintain full lawn coverage.
Wire-free installation with virtual boundaries
The Automower 312V uses virtual boundaries instead of a physical perimeter wire. The setup is created in the Automower Connect app, giving you flexibility to adjust the lawn layout later if your garden changes.
This is especially useful for Adelaide homes where lawns, garden beds, play areas or landscaping may change over time. Temporary stay-out zones can also be created directly in the app to protect newly seeded areas, seasonal garden projects or parts of the lawn you want the mower to avoid.
Mowing patterns for a premium lawn finish
The Automower 312V supports selectable mowing patterns, including stripes, checkerboard and triangle patterns. These systematic patterns can create a more structured, professional-looking finish on suitable lawns.
For a softer, carpet-like finish, the mower can also operate in irregular mowing mode.

Wi-Fi and connectivity requirements
For wire-free operation, the Automower 312V requires Wi-Fi coverage across the full lawn area. This can usually be checked with a smartphone before installation.
If Wi-Fi coverage is not strong enough in some parts of the lawn, it may be improved by moving the router closer to the garden-facing side of the home, using a Wi-Fi range extender, or installing a mesh Wi-Fi system with the 2.4 GHz band enabled.
Additional accessories may also be available, including the Automower Connect Kit for cellular connectivity or the Husqvarna EPOS RS1 Reference Station for a stand-alone positioning solution. These accessories can be supplied and installed by an authorised Husqvarna dealer.

Automatic passage handling
Husqvarna Automower® automatically senses narrow passages and finds its way even through the smallest passages. It will vary its route through the passage to avoid unpleasant tracks.

Secondary Work Area
If your lawn has two areas that are not connected with a passage for your mower, for example the front and back lawn, then you are able to create a work area in your installation without a transport path. Meaning that you need to manually move the mower between these two areas, and the mower will mow for a selected time or until the battery is empty.
